Thanks for stopping by.
Don't you just love the way photography allows us to capture and compliment our life stories? We take pictures with the people around us as another way to appreciate every little moment as it comes. We record these moments to document and preserve a little bit of our story and emotion. Sometimes I wonder if there's some truth to the old belief from different cultures that taking someone's picture is like stealing a little bit of their soul.
I don't know about that, but I'd like to think of it as borrowing and sharing, rather than stealing and burning. Take a peak of the beautiful souls in my portraits and you might just see their stories and emotions they happened to lend me.
So if you're up for it, how about some borrowing and sharing.
I'd love to tell your story.
I usually team up with my wife Ikuno, and we've had plenty of practice working in tandem in a cafe back in Sydney. These days, our teamwork is pretty much spent wrangling these two little girls of ours.
Most of our work is done in Brisbane and around the south-east corner of Queensland. Though if you'd like us to fly over to you, I'm sure we could work something out.
